Plan Philippines

Plan is an international, humanitarian, child-centered development organization without religious, political or governmental affiliation.

Plan Philippines is among the 12 program countries in Asia. It was established in 1961 upon the invitation of Carlos P. Romulo, the President of the 4th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Plan's operation started with the urban slum dwellers of Metro Manila and later expanded to the provinces of Southern and Northern Luzon, the Bicol region and Central Visayas.

For more than 40 years, Plan has worked in several provinces and municipalities. Currently, it operates in 9 of the country's poorest provinces, 45 municipalities and 452 villages.
